Professional Development Series: 2023-2024

The CRiCS Professional Development Series is a series of workshops intended for members of the centre (researchers, students in the Cultural Studies MA program, research assistants) to gain new skills in a variety of different professional areas related to Cultural Studies and Cultural Studies research. "Beyond the impact factor will look at ways to measure and describe your research and publication impact in ways that align with ‘responsible metrics’ – moving beyond prestige and its proxies, claiming your researchers IDs for bibliometrics, and some detective work tips for places to look for your impact when applying for tenure/ promotion, grants, etc."
