Sample First Year
For students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, it is recommended that the following be included in courses taken in the first year:
- BUS 1201 (Introduction to Business 1)
- BUS 1202 (Introduction to Business 2)
- ECON 1102 (Introduction to Microeconomics)
- ECON 1103 (Introduction to Macroeconomics)
- Either MATH 1301 or ECON 1201 (either will count toward the math requirement for the BBA degree)
- RHET 1104 (Academic Writing for Business) (or any other 1000-level Academic Writing course)
Note:
- Many of these courses are also offered in the Spring semester.
- In order to take BUS 2000 level courses, students will need, at a minimum, BUS 1201, BUS 1202 and either MATH 1301 or ECON 1201 with a minimum grade of C+ in each. Please check the course descriptions, which also contains prerequisite information.
