Biography:
Rachel Berg earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg, with a double major in Religion & Culture and Theatre & Film (Design). She has worked as the Office Manager for the Departments of Modern Languages & Literatures and Religion & Culture for the past 20 years. Rachel is passionate about photography, music, art, yoga, nature, and her two beautiful sons. Her work as a photographer was featured in the book, Winnipeg by Winnipeg, and has graced the covers of a few academic publications. Rachel was a participating artist in Gallery 1C03’s show What We Make II (2017), What We Make III (2020), and What We Make IV (2024). She also frequently collaborates with artists from around the world on various projects for the online creative community, HitRECord, including a project titled "Create Together" which won a 2020 Emmy Award for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Programming.
